Description

Heavy-duty galvanised steel lintel angles engineered to carry structural loads above door and window openings. Manufactured from 100 x 100 x 6mm mild steel angle and hot-dip galvanised for long-term corrosion resistance, these lintels are a trade staple for masonry, brick veneer, and cavity wall construction where a reliable, code-compliant load-bearing solution is required.

Why choose our Galvanised Lintel Angles

  • Hot-dip galvanised finish — protects against rust and corrosion, suitable for both internal and external applications
  • 100 x 100 x 6mm profile — a robust equal angle section built to support standard masonry and brick veneer loads
  • Wide length range — 11 stock lengths from 900mm to 4000mm to suit almost any opening width
  • Ready to install — clean-cut ends, consistent gauge, no on-site fabrication required
  • Trade-ready supply — available for single lintels or bulk site orders

Choosing the right length

As a general guide, lintels should extend at least 150mm past each side of the opening to provide adequate bearing on the supporting masonry. Select the closest stock length that provides this bearing allowance for your opening width. For loading capacities and span tables specific to your project, check the relevant engineering specification or speak with our team before ordering.
