Film ply is very similar to form ply, it is coated with the same hard durable resin-impregnated paper overlay, but unlike form ply, it is not certified to specific stress grades that Form ply is. Film-face plywood is non-structural-rated plywood and is also commonly used in the concrete formwork industry where certified plywood is not required.
